About Above the Rest
Established through the dedication and compassion of Administrator, Kathy Member, Above the Rest HomeCare LLC & Above the Rest HomeCare of NJ, LLC strives to deliver a unique experience to every client.

As a lifelong resident of Sussex County, New Jersey, Kathy understands the importance of empowering small businesses to thrive to stimulate local growth and support communities.
​
Early on, Kathy recognized the need for individualized, affordable home care, and after receiving her nursing degree from the County College of Morris, she opened her first private home care agency in 1995 in Newton, called All Quality Care, Inc. Over the next 15 years, Kathy successfully opened 3 more branches, managing over 400 employees, and servicing over 5,000 clients in the area.

In 2009, with her daughter Kacie, Kathy established Above the Rest HomeCare, LLC in Milford, Pennsylvania, with the aim of servicing Milford and surrounding communities with the same enthusiasm and dedication she brought to New Jersey. Through the expansion of their Pennsylvania office, the family duo has again opened their doors with Above the Rest HomeCare of New Jersey, LLC located in Sparta, NJ to continue their mission of providing quality and compassionate care.
