Truth in Advertising Policy

Information to clients, the community and referral source needs to be honest and ethical so the client can make an informed decision about the choice of service providers and their qualification and capabilities.

 

Therefore, it is the police of ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC to ensure that ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC advertising adheres to those adopted by the American Advertising Federation and include Truth, Substantiation, Comparisons, Bait Advertising, Guarantees and Warranties, Price Claims, Testimonials and Taste and Decency.  All print, oral or electronic advertising and communication with the community, individuals, and groups are reviewed prior to release with all claims substantiated in the ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC’s records and must be in keeping with these principles.

ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC adheres to the principles of truth in advertising, and all information accurately represents the organizations scope of services provided, licenses, price claims or testimonials.

All claims either written or oral used by ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC for advertising, community education and marketing must adhere to the following principles:

  • Truth – all facts are true and revealed so as not to mislead anyone, this includes services allowed by credentials/license.

  • Substantiation – claims made by ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC are substantiated by evidence, which is included as part of the communication whenever possible.

  • Comparisons – ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC does not make any false, misleading or un-substantiated statements about competitors and routinely does not use this type of advertising.

  • Bait Advertising – the ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC does not use this type of advertising for any service it offers.

  • Guarantees and Warranties – ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC make no guarantees or warranties in its advertising or in the delivery of service.

  • Price Claims – all fees quoted are legitimate and either set my contract or based on pricing policy and costs.

  • Testimonials – testimonials used by ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC are those of real clients or their family members and reflect real and honest opinions about their experience with the services of ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC and supported by written documentation.

  • Taste and Decency – ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC ensures that all its communications are free of statements, illustration or implications, which are offensive to good taste or public decency.

Fraud Policy

ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC aspires to the highest ethics, compliance with laws, regulations and service standards in relation to business operations and practices and direct service to customers

 

Therefore, it is the policy of ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC to assure compliance with all laws, regulations, and accreditation standards to help maintain operations in an ethical manner.  The Governing Authority has final judgment on all business ethics and compliance decisions.  All employees are to conduct themselves in a principled manner and in compliance with laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, this includes providing proof of certification or licensure.  Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.  A Code of Ethics is provided each employee, which includes the assignment to the appropriate level of care, excluding unauthorized employees from performing personal care.  Annual reports to the Governing Authority on incidents of misconduct or violations are prepared and evaluated.  This policy statement will be distributed to the general public and referral sources annually.  Reports of misconduct, safety concerns or violation can be made by anyone within the prescribed procedure, including licensing and/or regulatory agencies, the Compliance Officer and are held in confidence.  ABOVE THE REST HOME CARE, LLC will cooperate with all reasonable and lawful demands made by government investigators or law enforcement agents and no documents will be altered or destroyed in anticipation of a request by a lawful investigation.

Above the Rest Home Care, LLC is dedicated to a a policy of non-discrimination in employment and delivery of services. Above the Rest Home Care, LLC employs personnel and provides services to consumers without regard to race, color, age, gender, religious creed, ancestry, national origin, sexual orientation, handicap, or any other legally protected state or federal status.
